Rob Howell works at Oswestry School, Shropshire, and says students have questioned how he could know what they go through in exam season. "I realised at that moment that I didn't know," he explained. If he passes chemistry, Mr Howell has promised pupils he will sit another GCSE next year. "Now I understand the stresses young people go through as they prepare for their exams," he said. "The trepidation, the expectation, the pressure they put on themselves." He said the idea to sit a GCSE came to him when discussing revision and its importance with pupils, and one commented: "It's all right for you sir, you don't know what it's like." Find Peter Chadwick: Manhunt continues for fugitive multimillionaire years after being charged with wife’s murder
Produced by Chuck Stevenson and Gayane Keshishyan Mendez A murder that stunned an upscale California neighborhood more than six years ago is now the focus of an international manhunt — and authorities are asking the public for help. "We had no idea this was going to become the logistical monster that it has," U.S. Marshal Craig McCluskey tells "48 Hours." Peter Chadwick and his wife, Q.C. Chadwick, seemed to have the perfect life. College sweethearts, they were married for 21 years and had three sons. They lived in a gated community in Newport Beach, California. That dream life collapsed one day in 2012 when neither of the Chadwicks turned up to pick up their sons from the bus stop. Investigators had little idea that day the case would lead to an international manhunt. The next morning, authorities got a 911 call in San Diego, the next county over. It was Peter Chadwick, claiming a house painter named Juan murdered Q.C. and forced him to put her body in his SUV and drive down … [Read more...] about Find Peter Chadwick: Manhunt continues for fugitive multimillionaire years after being charged with wife’s murder

The Supreme Court’s EPA Ruling Is Going to Be Very, Very Expensive
Today’s major environmental ruling from the Supreme Court, West Virginia v. EPA, is probably most notable for what it did not do. It did not say that the Environmental Protection Agency is prohibited from regulating heat-trapping carbon pollution from America’s existing power plants. It also did not strip the EPA of its ability to regulate climate pollution at all. In short, it did not, as some progressives feared, blast away any possibility of using the federal government’s environmental powers to solve climate change, the biggest environmental problem of our time. Yet its effects will be felt for years to come. The ruling limits the EPA’s ability to regulate climate change, but leaves enough room that the agency still must try to do so. With these constraints, the Court is forcing the agency to approach the problem of carbon pollution with brute-force tools. In short, the Court has ensured that climate regulation, when it comes, will prove both more cumbersome … [Read more...] about The Supreme Court’s EPA Ruling Is Going to Be Very, Very Expensive
