A BABY was rushed to hospital after a police chase ended in a horror crash last night. The tot was in the back of a Seat which was hit by a Vauxhall Corsa in Wythenshawe, Manchester at 8.20pm. Cops were racing after the Corsa after spotting it being driven dangerously in Moat Road. They attempted to pull the driver over - but when he failed to stop, officers gave chase. The pursuit ended when the Corsa smashed into another vehicle in Hollyhedge Road. A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop and driving while disqualified. AT least five people have been killed and 22 injured as violence erupted at the start of the July 4 weekend. Nine people, including a teen, were gunned down in a mass shooting in Newark, New Jersey on Thursday. A cop was killed and up to six officers were injured as they responded to an armed-hostage situation in Kentucky, while two people died in a mass shooting in Chicago. NEW JERSEY Cops revealed that four adults and a teen took themselves to the hospital after being shot. Police said that four other victims were taken to hospital by medics. A MOVIE theater was swarmed by cops after a shooting in Minnesota on Tuesday night. Customers at Marcus Oakdale Cinema said law enforcement told them to leave the building as police searched for a gunman. Video on social media showed law enforcement swarming the area as the theater on Hadley Ave N in Oakdale was evacuated around 10pm. A suspect fled on foot and is still at large after the chaos, according to Captain Steve Goodwin of the Oakdale Police Department. “A 23-year-old male was found in theater 17 with suspected gunshot wounds," the police captain told The Sun. Croft crossed the finish line last weekend to win the Western States Endurance Run - a 100-mile slog over California’s Sierra Nevada mountain range billed as one of the world’s toughest running races. FULL Monty’s Hugo Speer has been sacked from the film’s Disney reboot for allegedly inviting a woman into his trailer while naked. A runner, in her 20s, says the incident happened when she knocked on his door. She says the married star gestured for her to join him. Speer, 54, denies her claims. He had been warned for allegedly walking around his trailer naked before getting the boot for apparently inviting in a woman.
