Danish police said Sunday that several people died and a number of people were injured during a shooting at a Copenhagen mall. Officers were called to the Fields shopping center, located close to the city's main airport, at around 5:30 p.m. local time (1530 UTC/GMT) after reports of a gunman firing shots. What we know so far Chief police inspector Soren Thomassen told a news conference on Sunday evening that several people had died and many more were wounded. But he said it was too early to reveal the exact number. Several people were killed in a shooting at a Copenhagen shopping centre, say Danish police. It happened late on Sunday afternoon at the Field’s mall, which is close to the city's airport. Akron, Ohio — A Black man shot and killed by Akron police officers in a hail of bullets following a vehicle and foot pursuit was unarmed at the time of the shooting, but a shot appeared to have come from the vehicle during the pursuit, and officers said they feared he was preparing to fire when they discharged their weapons, authorities said. Police on Sunday released video that the mayor called "heartbreaking" of the pursuit and shooting of Jayland Walker, 25, while pleading for peace and patience from the community while the state investigation into the shooting continues. Three people have been arrested in a shooting Saturday in Denham Springs that investigators believe started as a drug transaction that turned into a robbery and fight, the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office said. The person who was shot was injured in his torso and arm, and remains in the hospital in stable condition, Sheriff Jason Ard said in a Facebook post Sunday. Detectives believe that four people — two from Denham Springs, one from Baton Rouge and one from Ponchatoula — met around 3 p.m. Saturday at a convenience store in the 23000 block of La. 16 in Denham Springs for a drug transaction. Police in Denmark say several people have been killed in a shooting at a shopping mall in Copenhagen. "One person has been arrested in connection with the shootings," Copenhagen police announced, describing the perpetrator as 22-year-old ethnically Danish man. THREE people are confirmed dead and three more are in a critical condition after a rifle maniac opened fire on shoppers in Copenhagen last night.
