Scarlett Moffat has said she's very happy being a size 18 and encourages everyone to celebrate their bodies without having to rely on 'fatties unite'. The TV star, 31, is trying to get everyone body positive and gives her take on feeling confident. Having lost three stone herself once, and being both a size 8 and 18, the Gogglebox star says she knows how it feels to be both sizes, but says body confidence is all about celebrating our bodies. She believes as long as people are healthy, nice to others, and true to themselves, then everyone should celebrate themselves. The stunning brunette has seen her weight fluctuate over the years, with her going between a size 8 and a size 18. Shooting to fame in 2014 on the much-loved Channel 4 programme Gogglebox, Scarlett has been in the public eye for eight years. Scarlett Moffatt has urged people to be kind to one another after receiving a handwritten letter criticising her appearance. On Tuesday, the former Gogglebox star broke down in tears on her Instagram Story after sharing a photograph of the letter on the social media site. The anonymous writer of the note referred to the star as “atrocious” and “fat” after watching her Channel 4 show The British Tribe Next Door . The letter also criticised the way Moffatt talks and said her mouth “looks strange like a pork chop sliced in half”. Alongside a snippet of the note, Moffat wrote: “The fact someone’s sent me a letter as they feel so strongly about my weight is ridiculous.
