A day in the life of a food trucker The day begins around 8:30 in the morning when Johnny and Vanessa, the truck’s two employees, start preparing the day’s offerings. Some of their tasks are mincing beef, preparing toppings and making sure everything is in order to deal with the rush of lunchtime customers. A few hours later they arrive at their site--a business park in Betrange or Findel, or anywhere in between, depending on the day--and by noon hungry people are lining up. Thousands will descend on Singleton Park this weekend for Swansea’s Biggest Weekend 2018. It is taking place on the late May bank holiday weekend for two days, and the likes of Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Florence and the Machine will perform to the masses. The BBC's Biggest Weekend is being held over four locations in four nations between May 25 and 28 and will be the BBC's biggest ever celebration of music across TV, radio, online and mobile. The Swansea shows take place on Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27. On both days, gates open at 11am and the main stage event is scheduled to finish at 10pm. Organisers say you may bring in food and soft drinks to the event for your own personal consumption provided that any soft drinks are in unopened and sealed plastic or paper containers with a capacity of 500ml or less, restricted to one per person.
