The Duchess of Sussex has given birth to a boy, Prince Harry has announced. Speaking in the grounds of the royals' Windsor estate, he said: "It was amazing. Absolutely incredible. I'm so proud of my wife. "It's been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined. "How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension. "We're both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support from everybody out there, it's been amazing, so we just wanted to share this with everybody." Ajay Nair, news reporter The wedding of the year is fast approaching - but who will be there to witness the happy couple tie the knot on Saturday? Meghan Markle confirmed on Thursday that her father, Thomas Markle, would not be in attendance and would be left to "focus on his health" instead. The guest list has been open to much speculation, but a host of celebrities are expected and about 600 people have been invited to the ceremony. Additionally, 2,640 people have been invited to celebrate inside the castle walls even though they will not be part of the congregation. The guest list includes 1,200 young people and others who have served their communities, 200 people from charities and organisations that the couple have a close association with, and 100 pupils from two local schools. Meghan’s Suits co-stars share ‘last supper’ before the royal wedding
Meghan Markle's Suits co-stars have shared a meal they have described as the "last supper" ahead of their friend's wedding to Prince Harry. Ms Markle, who played lawyer Rachel Zane in the hit US TV series, became close to the cast during the seven seasons she spent working on the show. Patrick J Adams, who played Markle's onscreen love interest Mike Ross, posted a picture on Instagram of the cast and crew at the Barn Resturant in Sunningdale, Berkshire. His caption was "The last supper #royalwedding". Also visible in the photo were Rick Hoffman, who played Louis Litt, Vanessa Ray, who played Jenny Griffith and Gina Torres, who played Jessica Pearson. It was a night when stars accepted awards in tracksuit bottoms, pyjamas and hoodies from rooms with too many doors, and the hosts presented from different coasts (albeit with a whizzy background to make them appear united). Irv Cross dead at 81 – NFL veteran and pioneering CBS broadcaster passes away after dementia battle
NFL veteran and pioneering CBS broadcaster Irv Cross has passed away at 81 after battling dementia. The Philadelphia Eagles, the team Cross spent his six of his nine NFL seasons with, said Cross’ son, Matthew, confirmed his father died near his home in Roseville, Minnesota . The cause of death was not provided. "All of us at CBS Sports are saddened by the news of Irv Cross’ passing," CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus said in a statement. "Irv was a pioneer who made significant contributions to the storied history and tradition of CBS Sports and, along with Phyllis George and Brent Musburger, set the standard for NFL pregame shows with 'The NFL Today.′ "He was a true gentleman and a trail blazer in the sports television industry and will be remembered for his accomplishments and the paths he paved for those who followed."
