Piers Corbyn has again been arrested at an anti-lockdown protest, held in defiance of orders banning public gatherings in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. The coronavirus conspiracy theorist, 73, was pictured in handcuffs being led away by Metropolitan Police officers in Bishops Park, Fulham, West London , on Saturday. The brother of former Labour leader Jeremy was among dozens of people who had gathered to protest against the current lockdown . Other images showed people dancing in front of a banner which read, 'Let London Live' and was supportive of Corbyn's campaign to become London mayor. And a video filmed as police intervened showed protesters shouting 'shame on you' at officers as they surrounded Corbyn, who was holding a microphone. Police have arrested a number people after hundreds of anti-lockdown protesters gathered in Dublin. About 20 people were arrested by Gardai in the centre of the Irish capital on Saturday after an anti-lockdown demonstration began around 2pm. Violence has returned to the streets of Spain after a few days of tense calm following the arrest of a rapper. Bank windows were smashed in Barcelona and at least 10 people were arrested after peaceful marches turned violent, with similar scenes in other parts of the Catalonia region. Officers also said they apprehended a group trying to set a police van on fire. It comes after rapper Pablo Hasel was taken into custody on 16 February to serve a nine-month prison sentence. The charges he faced include inciting terrorism - he had praised defunct groups who were responsible for killing more than 1,000 people in Spain - as well as refusing to pay fines for insulting the country's former king.
