Strange radio objects coming from distant galaxy ‘defy theory’, baffled scientists say
A GROUP of rarely observed radio objects have been spotted out in a distant galaxy cluster which has left scientists scratching their heads. The objects in question include a radio relic, a radio halo, and fossil radio emission. But why is it significant? Well, it defies existing theories about the origins of such objects, as well as their characteristics. The strange discovery was spotted within a galaxy cluster known officially as Abell 3266. It's situated a whooping 800 million light-years away, stretching across 300 million light-years of sky in the southern constellation of Reticulum. Xbox is bringing your games to the cloud
IN its June showcase, Xbox promised a number of changes coming to its cloud gaming service, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and it appears users will soon be able to play their games straight from the cloud. Currently, Xbox Game Pass members can play the games which are part of the service directly from XCloud without the need to download. However, games currently not on Game Pass, even games you have purchased, are not available via Xbox Cloud Gaming. The changes may be crucial to players, particularly to those who own the cheaper Xbox Series S model with its limited storage. Games have increasingly large file sizes and players often have to delete old games to make space on their consoles. Xbox wrote in a June blog post : “We’re excited to share that later this year, it’s our intent to roll out the ability for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to play, from the cloud, select games they already own or have purchased outside the Xbox Game Pass library.” More in Xbox … [Read more...] about Xbox is bringing your games to the cloud

Nature of dark matter revealed as scientists peer billions of years further than ever before
SCIENTISTS have managed to detect dark matter from billions of years ago for the very first time. The major step reveals the nature of dark matter surrounding galaxies from 12billion years ago. That's billions of years more than we've ever seen before. As if the huge achievement wasn't enough, initial findings are giving new clues about the history of our cosmos. Experts think that the rules of the universe may differ when examining the early history of our universe. Dark matter is tricky to study by its very nature. Nasa unveils 1st full set of James Webb telescope photos giving space fans DEEPEST look of the universe yet
HAVING just released the deepest image of the universe to date, Nasa today shared four additional mind-blowing snaps taken by the most powerful telescope ever built. The full set of the James Webb Space Telescope’s first colour images was published during a televised broadcast from the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. The snaps give space fans a look at small sections of the universe teeming with galaxies, stars and more. They include incredibly detailed shots of an exploding star and a quintet of galaxies viewed in new light. Nasa also revealed that the orbiting contraption has detected signs of water on a planet more than a thousand light-years away. The "signature of water" was spotted on the giant gas planet WASP 96-b, which orbits a star in a distant galaxy. ‘Never seen anything like it’: Supergiant star has unprecedented explosion
A supergiant red star called Betelgeuse “quite literally blew its top” Nasa says, after a large chunk of its surface blasted off into space . The conclusion around the unprecedented explosion in 2019 comes after astronomers analysed data from Nasa’s Hubble Space Telescope and several other observatories. Although our Sun in our solar system routinely blows off parts of its tenuous outer atmosphere, the corona, in what is called a Coronal Mass Ejection, Betelgeuse blasted off 400 billion times as much mass. “This is something never before seen in a normal star's behaviour,” Nasa says in a press release .
