For those about to rock we have some good news as one of the largest Elvis tribute shows is set to hit Derby - but it doesn't stop there. The Elvis World Tour is coming to Derby Arena in May 2019 as part of an eight-date major venue tour around the UK. The tour is touted to be the world's leading tribute show featuring both Shawn Klush and Dean Z who will be backed by a live band and orchestra. According to their website, the show has received "many positive reviews from national and international critics" and has been taking the country by storm. Fortunately, if the King of Rock and Roll is always on your mind and you want to see the real deal, you can watch Elvis Presley’s legendary '68 Comeback Special on the big screen in Derby on August 16. The one-night showing will be at Showcase Cinema De Lux in Derby at 7pm and the Ritz Cinema in Belper at 6pm. It will be shown in over 250 cinemas across the UK. The Rolling Stones are undeniably rock and roll legends, and they sure know how to travel in style too. A simple tour bus is clearly not enough for Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and co, who have been jetting from gig to gig in a custom decorated Rolling Stones plane. And it isn't just any private jet either, it is a full jumbo jet sized Boeing 767 aircraft. What's more, you could not mistake it for anyone else's plane either, with the Stones' iconic logo adorned on the side of the craft. The 27-year-old twin engine craft flew in to Birmingham Airport from London Stansted ahead of the band's incredible performance at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday night.
