Dustin Poirier tells Conor McGregor he has to ‘be an a**hole’ if he wants to beat him in UFC rematch
DUSTIN POIRIER told Conor McGregor he needs to 'be an a**hole' if he wants to win a rematch. The Notorious was brutally stopped in their UFC 257 bout in January following a series of savage calf kicks. And Poirier reckons McGregor needs to rediscover his nasty streak in order to rise back to the top of the sport after a tame build-up with very little trash talk. He told the Joe Rogan Podcast : "Fighting is hectic already… It being a little bit more calm for me, was smooth sailing man!” Rogan responded regarding McGregor : “So it’s not good for him. It’s really better for him to be an a**hole." Poirier added: “Yeah, be an a**hole. "He did the same thing with Cowboy [Donald Cerrone]. I thought this was just him maturing, he's got a few kids now with another on the way. "Maybe he's maturing - we all change, maybe he's a different person." In recent years, the price has risen to $5million and this year's broadcasters CBS are expected to start at the same amount. It usually means paying a lot more in production costs and A-list talent to make the most of their 30 seconds in the spotlight. The Space Jam movie came four years after Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny initially teamed up in a Super Bowl advert. Anyone remember the “Whassup?” advert while “watching the game, having a Bud”, that too started out as a Super Bowl commercial. An ITV source has shot down rumours that Faye Brookes has caused a row with her Dancing On Ice co-stars over 'accusations of favouritism.' The show returned on Sunday night with Faye transformed into Julia Roberts as she performed a stunning routine to Roy Orbison's Oh, Pretty Woman with partner Matt Evers for movie week. Faye, 33, scored an impressive 34.5 out of 40 and is now the hot favourite to win the show. However, a source claimed that trouble was brewing behind the scenes as Faye has reportedly been having extra help with her routines. A source at the show told The Sun that Faye and Matt have been working with ITV's Creative Director Dan Whitson - prompting their co-stars to moan about the former Corrie star being gifted a huge advantage. The allegations came after Dan was seen training with the couple in Manchester as they perfected their routine.
