William and Charles ‘saddened’ over Meghan and Harry chat as they tried to mend rift

· March 7, 2021 ·

Prince Harry and Meghan’s explosive TV revelations could have been avoided if both sides in the royal row had sat down to try to resolve it, a source claims. Instead, the situation was allowed to descend into a farce that led to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex choosing the “nuclear” option of telling their side of the story to US chat show queen Oprah Winfrey. The couple’s tell-all interview, aired in the US tonight and due to be shown on ITV tomorrow night here, is said to have left Harry’s dad Prince Charles and brother William “saddened” – after they tried to heal the rift. ‘I tried to take my life after Dunblane horror – but now I have my happy family’

· March 7, 2021 ·

It was an ordinary Wednesday morning when I woke up on 13 March, 1996. It was snowing and I shivered as I pulled on my red school uniform sweater. We’d moved to Scotland three years earlier – my mum, my stepdad and my 11-year-old brother Joe. I loved my school. I was a happy-go-lucky kid and very settled. Dunblane was a safe, close-knit community. Neighbours were friendly and Joe and I had the freedom to play in the park and walk to school by ourselves. The school had a large gym in the middle and a big field at the back. It was coming up to 9.30am and our class was walking through a corridor to the music room, called the “GP room”, to practise singing for a big assembly later that week. But something wasn’t right. I was standing next to my … [Read more...] about ‘I tried to take my life after Dunblane horror – but now I have my happy family’

It should have been the most amazing experience of our lives, but it ended up being our downfall, really," he tells the camera in the documentary. "We were the co-presenters on the Xtra Factor. At the time, I was single and I … [Read more...] about Olly Murs says X Factor axe was Caroline Flack’s ‘downfall’ and she got worst abuse
