Convicted Nigerian fraudster  who claimed less than 24 hours before deportation that he was BISEXUAL is allowed to STAY in UK

A convicted Nigerian fraudster has been allowed to stay in the UK after claiming less than 24 hours before deportation that he was bisexual. The unnamed crook was jailed for five and half years in 2015 before the Home Office began the deportation process the following year. He made various human rights claims, which were rejected by a judge, but further delaying the process by launching an appeal. The criminal made two judicial review applications that were also eventually rejected but in January 2019 he claimed that he was bisexual and could not live openly in Nigeria – despite having never mentioned it during the lengthy court appeals. The Home Office claimed that this was a lie but an immigration judge granted him asylum, according to The Sun . Royal wedding florist gives sneak peek of day’s arrangements

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's florist has revealed some of the flowers she will be using as she pulls together the arrangements for Saturday. Philippa Craddock's designs will feature silver birch and English oak, which she will be sourcing locally, including from Windsor Great Park. Birch trees are one of the biggest contributors among tree pollen in the UK. Ms Craddock said working with the royal couple was a "collaborative" process and the pair had arrived at similar ideas for the commission. Although she would not disclose the full arrangements, she did speak about using the foliage of native trees. Meghan Markle confirmed on Thursday that her father, Thomas Markle, would not be in attendance and would be left to "focus on his health" instead. The guest list has been open to much speculation, but a host of celebrities are expected and about 600 people have been invited to the ceremony. Additionally, 2,640 people have been invited to celebrate inside the castle walls even though they will not be part of the congregation. Meghan’s Suits co-stars share ‘last supper’ before the royal wedding

Meghan Markle's Suits co-stars have shared a meal they have described as the "last supper" ahead of their friend's wedding to Prince Harry. Ms Markle, who played lawyer Rachel Zane in the hit US TV series, became close to the cast during the seven seasons she spent working on the show. Patrick J Adams, who played Markle's onscreen love interest Mike Ross, posted a picture on Instagram of the cast and crew at the Barn Resturant in Sunningdale, Berkshire. His caption was "The last supper #royalwedding". Also visible in the photo were Rick Hoffman, who played Louis Litt, Vanessa Ray, who played Jenny Griffith and Gina Torres, who played Jessica Pearson. BBC must end threat of prosecuting over 75s for not paying licence fee, say peers

THE BBC must end the threat of prosecuting over 75s for not paying their licence fee for good, a cross-party group of 28 peers told the corporation’s boss. The threats by TV Licensing has created unacceptable stress among Britain’s eldest citizens which Beeb big wig Tim Davie must solve, they added. It comes as culture minister John Whittingdale today faces MPs questions over the Government’s approach to the TV licence fee. The letter said: “There is no moral justification for sending waves of threatening letters to people like 96 year old Frank Ashleigh who served this country by landing a glider behind enemy lines in Arnhem in 1944. “The BBC has many friends who want it to survive but the treatment of the over 75s is undermining that goodwill.” The peers insisted much more needs to be done in order to mitigate the stress to the elderly, including a pledge to never prosecute any over 75s for a licence fee .
