Rescheduled

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have cancelled their Friday night Glasgow gig due to ‘illness’ just hours before they were set to perform. The rockers made the announcement on social media and promised to reschedule, but gave no more details about what was ailing the band. A statement posted by their account on social media read: ‘Due to illness RHCP will not be able to perform in Glasgow tonight July 1. We are working on ways to reschedule. ‘Pls hold onto your tickets and wait for an update soon. RHCP love Scotland and are deeply disappointed not to be able to perform the show. ‘Thank you for your understanding. (sic)’ The concert, which was set to be held at Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park, would have been the band’s first performance in the city since 2016.
