Real Madrid are well placed to progress to the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey Juvenil after an impressive 2-0 win over their Barcelona counterparts at the Mini Estadi. The Catalans had the better of the opening 10 minutes, but after soaking up that pressure Los Blancos took a 12th-minute lead when Miguel Baeza finished off a good team move and things became uncomfortable for the hosts from there. Seven minutes later the lead was doubled, but this time it was a spectacular individual effort from Rodrigo. Barcelona again came out the brighter of the teams at the start of the second half and looked to create more than they had in the opening 45 minutes, but Real Madrid were able to absorb that pressure again and showed they could cause their own problems with long balls towards Rodrigo or Baeza further up the field. It finished 2-0 to the visitors and the second leg will be played on the evening of Sunday, June 9. … [Read more...] about Real Madrid take the advantage in Copa del Rey Juvenil Clasico

Zinedine Zidane hinted on Saturday that Gareth Bale could make his last appearance for Real Madrid on Sunday after saying he would make changes this summer ahead of the final match of their miserable La Liga season. Between so much tension and rancour are the behaviours to imitate.
