Passengers toppled over each other as they fled through carriages when Ricky Morgan, 34, launched an unprovoked assault on businessman James Porritt, the trial had heard. The husband of the murdered PCSO Julia James has described how he confronted her killer just weeks earlier while walking in the woods, as her daughter described the violent loner as a "vile excuse for a human being". Callum Wheeler , who was described as "highly sexualised, angry and strange" in court, was found guilty of the apparently motiveless attack on the 53-year-old mother-of-two and domestic violence specialist, as she walked her dog in woods close to her Kent home last April. Before suspected shooter Payton Gendron opened fire at a Buffalo supermarket, he invited 15 people to join an online chatroom that served as a personal diary for his planned violence. At least 15 people joined Gendron’s private account on the communications app Discord in the half hour before the shooting erupted at the Tops Friendly Markets grocery store, CNN reported. The account served as his ‘personal diary chat log,’ a Discord spokesperson said. ‘Approximately 30 minutes prior to the attack, however, a small group of people were invited to and joined the server.
