Adventurer Bear Grylls said the Queen struggled to recognise him as she gave him his OBE at Buckingham Palace today - because of his new moustache. Grylls, 45, said it was 'so cool' to be given his gong by the Queen, which was awarded as part of her birthday honours list for services to young people, the media and charity. After collecting his honour with wife Shara by his side, he said: 'It is such a privilege of a day and also such an honour to have the Queen doing it (the medal presentation). 'I was secretly hoping and thinking it would be so cool if the Queen did it. She is 93 and stood on her feet for hours on end, smiling and chatting away. 'I walked up and she said: 'Bear, I hardly recognise you with that moustache'. Edward Enninful pictured at Pride In London Gala Dinner The editor of British Vogue has hit out at 'racist' criticism aimed at Meghan Markle after she guest edited an issue of the magazine in September. Edward Enninful and the Duchess of Sussex collaborated on a special 'Forces for Change' edition featuring a grid of 15 'incredible' women on the cover with articles commissioned by Meghan inside. Meghan faced criticism for not including the Queen and supposedly being too political, 'left wing' and 'divisive' with her choices of women.
