LONDON (Reuters) - Britain’s newest royal Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, will join Queen Elizabeth on Thursday for her first official engagements without husband Prince Harry. The Crown actress Vanessa Kirby has hinted that the British Queen is a fan of the Netflix series, which is based on the monarch’s life.The 30-year-old has played Princess Margaret for two runs of the popular royal drama, but will be replaced by Helena Bonham Carter for the third series.She told The Graham Norton Show: “A friend of mine was at a party where he didn’t know anyone so sidled up to a group who were discussing the show. 4 “Inclusivity” is the new unofficial mantra of the Queen Elizabeth Hall, which, along with the Purcell Room, reopened last night after a nearly three-year refit. Before it closed, this mid-sized hall had become the go-to venue for chamber orchestras, dance, music theatre, and the more experimental forms of new music that need a large stage and sophisticated lighting, but couldn't fill the hall's larger neighbour, the Royal Festival Hall. But the legacy of such multifarious uses was a messy stage area encumbered with lighting bridges, and a generally tired and scuffed appearance. Now it’s acquired a welcoming new glass frontage onto the river, and the foyer, which will soon be hosting 1000-capacity club nights, feels much airier as a result.
