Perfume bottle manufacturer for Gucci and L’Oréal in danger

August 9, 2022 by www.euronews.com

Heinz-Glas is one of Germany's biggest glass bottle manufacturers and produces perfume bottles for illustrious brands such as Gucci and L'Oréal. While the industry has weathered many storms, the current gas crisis rocking the country could prove fatal. At the Bavarian plant, almost 70 tonnes of glass are made every day, at temperatures of up to 1,600 degrees. Massive amounts of gas are used, which has become an endangered and increasingly expensive resource. The rise in energy costs is driving up production costs as Vice President Murat Agac explains. "Since the invasion of Ukraine, some gas and energy prices have risen tenfold compared to 2019 while other costs are even 20 times the price they were. "So, prices are volatile, but basically, they are way too high and it's hardly economically sustainable anymore." If Russian gas suppliers were to turn off the taps, the move would prove disastrous for the industry that produces a million of these bottles daily in … [Read more...] about Perfume bottle manufacturer for Gucci and L’Oréal in danger

Germania: Hannover taglia l’acqua calda negli edifici pubblici

August 1, 2022 by it.euronews.com

January 13, 2020 by de.euronews.com

[Read more...] about Merkel: Geld für Windrad-Anrainer

February 16, 2017 by fr.euronews.com

L’engagement … [Read more...] about Energie éolienne : quel pays est le champion de l’UE?

Officials say vets took the decision as the four-metre (13ft) mammal was being moved in a refrigerated truck. Overnight, rescuers spent nearly six hours lifting the 800kg (1,763lb) whale from the river using a crane and nets. They had planned to release the animal in the sea but its health deteriorated after failing to eat. "It is with heavy hearts we announce that the beluga did not survive," Sea Shepherd France conservation group wrote in a Twitter post on Wednesday. France mulls rescue plan for beluga whale stranded in River Seine

August 4, 2022 by www.bbc.co.uk

Published 5 days ago Share close Share page Copy link About sharing A beluga whale has been spotted in France's River Seine, and officials are now deciding how to save a mammal more suited to cold Arctic waters. They say the animal is currently near a lock at Vernon, about 70km (43 miles) north-west of Paris. Members of the public are being urged to keep away from the whale that appears to be underweight. Experts are puzzled as to why the whale has strayed so far south from its natural habitat. "The challenge now will be to help feed it, and try to accompany it towards the ocean," Lamya Essemlali, the head of environmental group Sea Shepherd France, was quoted as saying by the Reuters news agency. She said taking the animal out of the water was out of the question as it was too risky. Pictures have emerged showing the whale swimming slowly in the river. The officials … [Read more...] about France mulls rescue plan for beluga whale stranded in River Seine
