Super-rich family buy £65m house to celebrate Johnson’s victory
A super-rich European family on Friday bought a house in central London for £65m, saying their decision was a direct result of Boris Johnson’s historic Conservative party election victory. The family instructed luxury estate agency Beauchamp Estates to buy the property in an undisclosed “prime central London” location – as investors and the very wealthy celebrated the Conservatives’ 80-seat majority. Prince Andrew visits Hahoe Village in South Korea 20 years after locals treated his mother to a traditional birthday party
The Duke of York is in South Korea, where he visited the traditional village of Hahoe earlier today. Prince Andrew, 59, looked business-like in a smart suit as he toured the traditional village, located near Andong on the East Coast of South Korea. During his visit, the Duke of York planted an apple tree before relaying and greetings from his mother the Queen to the people of Hahoe. 'I am very pleased that my son is visiting Andong today,' the message read. 'It is over twenty years since The Duke of Edinburgh and I paid a State Visit to the Republic of Korea, and I recall with great fondness the many places we visited in 1999.'
