Prince Harry’s silence over Thomas Markle’s stroke under fire: ‘It’s inexcusable!’
Prince Harry slammed for remaining silent over Thomas Markle’s hospital visit amid continued estrangement. This claim has been made by royal expert Richard Kay, in one of his latest pieces for the Daily Mail. He wrote, “But perhaps the most baffling failure of all was Harry's.” Even now, four years later, it is hard to understand why Harry did not meet his girlfriend's father in person, as any prospective son-in-law would do.” “There must have been countless opportunities for Harry (and Meghan) to have paid a private visit to her father — long before he started giving interviews.” While Mr Kay admits Mr Markle’s claims against Prince Harry “hadly helped,” it “cannot excuse Harry's own behavior.” Before concluding he urged the Duke to reach out to his estranged father-in-law and added, “Is it really too late for Harry to put the past behind him and reach out to poorly Mr Markle? I don't think so — but if he does not I fear he may come to regret it.” … [Read more...] about Prince Harry’s silence over Thomas Markle’s stroke under fire: ‘It’s inexcusable!’

Mr Holt claimed, “I would say that, that’s probably people over in the UK saying that because here in America, Prince Harry and Meghan are still royalty to us.” “We don’t care what they think over in the UK… you guys can be mad at them… you can be upset that they left… you can side with whatever you want.” “Sorry, they’re royalty here in America and by all means… dress up, play royal, have a good time… … [Read more...] about Prince Harry, Meghan Markle in’ US limbo’: ‘They’re Playing royals!’
Meghan Markle ‘won’t tolerate mean behaviour’ towards Harry at Jubilee
Meghan Markle is said to be making sure that she and husband, Prince Harry, are respected on their trip back to the UK for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations, reported Heat magazine. While the Duke and Duchess want to avoid as much spotlight as possible on their visit in an effort to not overshadow the Queen on her Jubilee, an insider spilled to the outlet that Meghan has told Harry that he ‘must take no nonsense’. A friend of Meghan reportedly said: “She's fully aware that they'll be walking into the lion's den when they arrive in the UK.” “She knows how important it is to Harry that she's there at his side, but coming face-to-face with certain members of The Firm – who she claimed made their lives a misery – is a horrible prospect.” The source went on to state that Meghan “will not tolerate any eye-rolling, snide put-downs or mean-spirited behaviour towards her or Harry.” “She wants to know, if it came to it, that Harry's prepared to step up and be that same protective … [Read more...] about Meghan Markle ‘won’t tolerate mean behaviour’ towards Harry at Jubilee
Meghan ‘has not had any contact’ with dad Thomas after he suffered stroke
The Duchess of Sussex has made no attempt to contact her dad since he suffered a stroke earlier this week, it has been claimed. Author Tom Bower, who told ITV’s Good Morning Britain she had not been in touch, said Meghan should show some ‘compassion’ after Thomas Markle was admitted to hospital in Mexico on Tuesday. The 77-year-old dad — estranged from his daughter since 2018, the year she married Prince Harry — is said to be unable to speak. But his other daughter Samantha, 57, said he was now ‘recovering’ after being transferred to a clinic in California. ‘He just needs peace and rest. Godspeed. We are praying,’ she told MailOnline. Tom, who is writing a book about 40-year-old Meghan, said he last spoke to Thomas at the weekend and was in contact with the family. He told GMB presenters Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid: ‘If we knew what she [the duchess] was going to do, that would be terrific. ‘But what we do know is that Meghan has always said she’s a very … [Read more...] about Meghan ‘has not had any contact’ with dad Thomas after he suffered stroke
Top Partygate civil servant Simon Case was once Prince William’s right-hand-man
The Sue Gray report has ruffled feathers in Westminster and around the UK today after its damning conclusion that the Partygate scandal "fell well short" of standards expected in No. 10. Many have anticipated the outcome of the report from the senior civil servant for several months after its release was delayed during a Met Police investigation into parties in Downing Street. While Miss Gray, who joined the civil service straight out of school, is enormously respected in Whitehall, she was actually the second choice to investigate Partygate - after top civil servant Simon Case had to step down. Just a week after Mr Case was initially earmarked to write the report, it was revealed he had been present at a private gathering in his own office that breached coronavirus restrictions.
