30 September 2018 • 5:54pm Francesco Molinari fittingly took the glory as Europe regained the Ryder Cup from the United States in dominant style on Sunday, the Italian beating Phil Mickelson to post the point needed to reach the winning total. Mickelson conceded the 16th hole after firing his tee shot into the water with Molinari on the green to leave the Italian as the first European to win all five matches in a week - having not won any of his previous six. Europe were effectively assured of victory when he teed off as the Italian, Henrik Stenson and Sergio Garcia were all dormie and guaranteed at least half a point from their matches - with Europe needing just one more. All three secured the wins and Swedish rookie Alex Noren completed the day's action in style when he sunk a 40-foot putt to beat Bryson Dechambeau on the last and make the final European victory margin an emphatic 17½-10½. Poop too big to come out
Tonight's Celebrity Big Brother will prove to be an antidote after the housemates have endured a gruelling 24 hours. Last night saw the departure of Roxanne Pallett after she accused housemate Ryan Thomas of punching her in the ribs, and decided to leave after hearing fans chant to "get Roxy out." But today's shopping task is hoped to lighten the mood in the house as five housemates are set to don pet costumes, and the other housemates will act as their owners. While the animals can chat to each other usually, they must not communicate while a pet owner is in the room, leading many housemates to act in quite an odd way as they coo, meow and woof around the house and their kennels. Dan Osborne and Gabby Allen are given the puppy treatment as they sit adorably in their adjacent kennels, while Nick Leeson is expected to come out of his shell as a tortoise. Psychic Sally Morgan purrs as a cheeky kitty cat, while Jermaine Pennant's colourful parrot causes problems - mainly for pet … [Read more...] about CBB housemates don flamboyant pet costumes but Jermaine takes things too far

Jennifer Kane Reno Gazette Journal Published 5:52 p.m. UTC Aug 2, 2018 'It is overwhelming' The town of Gerlach has a saying: Is it October yet? Gerlach, population 110 give or take, is the last stop before 80,000 people get to the Black Rock Desert each year in the months leading up to Burning Man, the notorious arts celebration held each year over Labor Day weekend. During the off-season, the few businesses in town — a gas station, diner, motel and coffee shop/bar — cater to ranchers, rocketeers, hunters and truckers passing through. But during Burning Man season, the town is abuzz with Burners. They start arriving before July. By the end of September, almost all of them are gone. "It is overwhelming," said Laura Blaylock, a five-year resident of Gerlach. The town already was stirring on a near 100-degree day in mid-July. Artists crawled around a 747 plane art installation being stored in an RV lot outside of town. A few … [Read more...] about Are Nevada’s small desert towns ready for Burning Man’s population to hit 100,000?
IT'S a gross topic that no one wants to talk about, but knowing what your poo should look like is more important that you think. Your number twos can tell you a lot about your health - and can be the first sign of a serious disease. What should a healthy poo look like? There are seven types of poop, according to the Bristol Stool Chart, and the type you expel depends on how long it spent in your bowel. But your overall health also plays a role in what your poo looks like. Based on the stool chart, types one and two indicate constipation, types three and four are the ideal poos and types five to seven indicate diarrhoea. What consistency should your poop be? If your bowel is healthy you should be able to hold onto your poo for a short time after you realise you need the loo, you should be able to go without straining or feeling pain and you should be able to completely empty your bowel. Anything other than that could indicate a more serious condition, like bowel cancer or irritable … [Read more...] about What does normal poop look like and what does it mean if it is green or red?
