Louise Redknapp has been forced to pull out of West End musical 9 to 5 after being rushed to hospital. The former Eternal singer and Strictly Come Dancing star has had no choice but to give up her role in Dolly Parton's show after suffering a deep gash on her chin and fracturing her left wrist in a freak accident. She was given urgent treatment for her injuries, but told that she cannot work for at least two months. It means she'll miss the show's opening night in London - set to be attended by Dolly herself - as well as weeks of performances. A source close to the star told The Sun : "It happened on the way to rehearsals on Tuesday morning. She fell in the street. "She went to hospital and had stitches. Then doctors told her she needs time out and can’t do the show. "She is obviously completely devastated because this is a dream role for her. It doesn’t seem fair." The newspaper also published pictures of Louise's terrible injuries, including a deep cut on her chin. … [Read more...] about Louise Redknapp forced to pull out of show 9 to 5 after being rushed to hospital

However, while there may be six albums in his canon, it has not been plain sailing manning this ship of his, as the recession kicked in and he shouldered – and still does – all his own admin in relation to touring, gigs, his website, albums and the rest. “I’m one of these people who, at the start of the … [Read more...] about ‘You have to market yourself to a point of nearly embarrassment’ – Mundy talks crowdfunding, ageing, and upcoming US tour
