In late October 2020, just days before an alleged headbutt at the centre of the trial, Kate Greville, 36, told a friend she was going to end her contraception in secret. Corinne Card had been hoping for a home water birth when it was time to deliver her youngest child, but when doctors expressed concern that her bump wasn’t as big as they’d like, it looked like those hopes were going to be dashed. Most home water births happen in a birthing pool with a midwife or two present to help things go smoothly and safely. A three-storey townhouse built in Bristol in 1895. I bought it 18 months ago. It hadn’t had any work done to it for 40 years. How many places had you looked at? This house was the only place I looked at and I bought it. A friend in Bristol told me it was coming onto the market. It was a halfway house and the landlord rented rooms out individually.
