Animal rights activists are planning day of action in Plymouth as they step up campaigns against fur and factory farming. More than 130 people, from across Devon and Cornwall, have said they are prepared to attend an anti-fur protest outside the Flannels fashion store on the Piazza, and others will be demonstrating against the intensive farming of animals, at the Drake Circus end of New George Street, on Saturday, March 16, 2019. The anti-fur protest – which will feature “a lot of chanting” - will be the third one held outside Mike Ashley’s flagship clothing store, as part of the national Stop Fur at Flannels crusade.
