Saga has announced that it is extending the suspension of its cruise holidays until late June due to the ongoing uncertainty around travel during the pandemic. The over-50s travel firm was looking to resume sailings in May, but this has now been pushed back to June 27. Meanwhile, the inaugural journey for its new cruise ship, Spirit of Adventure, will be delayed until July 26. The company said that it was contacting affected passengers with a number of options such as rebooking or a refund. It's not just cruises whose restart is being pushed back. The firm is also extending the suspension of its holidays until May 17, in line with when foreign travel is hoped to resume as part of England's lockdown roadmap. Again, the brand is contacting affected holidaymakers to discuss their various options.
