A devoted married couple who died in a suspected hit and run just months before they were due to celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary have been pictured. Childhood sweethearts Ann and Lawrence Nickerson were killed while on their way out for dinner together an Italian restaurant in Newcastle. Ann, 75, was pronounced dead at the scene and 79-year-old Lawrence later died in hospital. The crash happened near the Punch Bowl Pub, on Jesmond Road, at around 7.20pm, on Saturday November 23, but the other driver left the scene. The couple's family has issued an emotional tribute to the pair, who set up family firm Clark's Home Bakery, and revealed how they were childhood sweethearts who had been due to celebrate 60 years of marriage, Chronicle Live reports. Frustrated Amazon customers say they've had their accounts hacked - with hundreds of pounds worth of purchases made to addresses around the country. Customers say they've been compromised - claiming that Amazon has done little to support them since reporting the various incidents. In many cases, it resulted in the customer having to cancel their credit or debit card - leaving them temporarily without access to cash. In October, customer Chloe took to social media after discovering £400 worth of goods had been ordered on her mother's account to a rogue Amazon locker.
