Police drama Line of Duty has been such a huge success it could be in line for a channel promotion. The final episode came to an explosive end last week on BBC Two bringing in more than four million viewers. According to reports there's a chance the gripping crime programme will be promoted from BBC Two to BBC One for its fourth instalment. Online site Broadcast have suggested that channel bosses are having 'high-level discussions' about the move which could see the popular series increase ratings even more so, but the BBC are yet to confirm. It was confirmed after the series finale that fans won't have to wait too long for the next chapter as the next batch of episodes will begin filming in August, with the view that they'll hit screens next February. COVID-19: Hunt for mystery person infected with Brazil variant narrows to 379 households
The hunt for an unidentified person who tested positive for the Brazil variant of coronavirus has narrowed to 379 households in southeast England, the health secretary has said. In total, six cases of the P1 coronavirus variant first found in Brazil have been discovered in the UK. One has still yet to be identified after the individual failed to complete their test registration card. Volvo has outlined a roadmap to an all-electric future for its cars by 2030, with all sales to follow Tesla's lead and become online-only. The Swedish carmaker, which is owned by China's Geely, joins other major brands to have set a clear path away from petrol and diesel-powered vehicles in recent weeks and months as a surging number of countries move to outlaw fossil fuel engines. ALDI shoppers are furious after a “technical issue” meant the supermarket's sell-out egg chair went up for sale early - and sold out in minutes. The German discount supermarket announced last week that the hanging egg chair would go on sale this Sunday (February 28) at 8am under its Special Buy garden range section. But a “technical issue” meant it had accidentally been launched before 8am, and many customers missed out on their chance of bagging one. Trainer Gordon Elliott apologises as racing authorities launch investigation into image of him sitting on dead horse
GRAND NATIONAL-winning trainer Gordon Elliott is being investigated after a shocking image on social media showed him sitting on a DEAD HORSE. Elliott, who led Tiger Roll to Aintree triumphs in 2018 and 2019, is co-operating with authorities after the shared Twitter picture went viral. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board have opened a probe and Elliott issued an apology to the racing world on Sunday night.
