Nine years after competing on Britain’s Got Talent and being inches away from clinching the win, comedian Jack Carroll is starring in a BBC short film that he’s written himself. In 2013, the then-14-year-old wowed the judges and members of the public at home with his comedic acts, scoring over 20% of the final vote to finish as the runner-up behind shadow theatre group Attraction. Now 23, the performer, whose cerebral palsy is often the subject of his material, is appearing in a short film called Mobility, from TV production company Tiger Aspect, which is set to air on BBC iPlayer. The programme is about a group of students who are heading to their first day of sixth form, with the trio all riding the mobility bus together. The Crown are looking for an actor to play a young Prince William - with filming starting in just a few days' time. The Netflix show is said to be recruiting a young person to play the Duke of the Cambridge in the upcoming series, which is expected to start filming next month. Four series of the show have already been released, whilst the fifth season is expected to be unveiled in November 2022. Ahead of the release date, work has turned to the next season. It will cover the period between 1997 and the early Noughties, which will feature key moments of the young Prince's life. Mandy Morris managed to see the funny side of the impromptu attack and shared a clip of the scratch running across her eye to her TikTok account, @iamwillywonky. "When your cat accidentally makes you Al Pacino," she captioned the footage, showing her looking menacingly at the camera.
