DAVID MOYES reckons Manchester City are so good they would have a chance of beating a fantasy line-up of the Premier League's best players. Pep Guardiola's men have won the last two league titles and got off to a flier this season with a 5-0 thrashing of West Ham on Saturday. And such is their dominance, the former Manchester United and Everton manager believes even an all-star XI from the other 19 teams may struggle against them. He told TalkSPORT: “I was trying to think the other day if you could make a Premier League team up from all the teams that could topple Man City to win the league, I think it would be very tough."Even if you had a team that included all the top players in it.” A team made up on non-City players would naturally feature plenty of Liverpool players in defence. Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold all made the PFA Team of the Year in 2018/19 - although Aaron Wan-Bissaka is running the right-back close in this selection. Two … [Read more...] about David Moyes reckons Man City would beat team made up of Premier League’s best players… but do Salah, Aubameyang and Co have a chance?

WATCHING fans were left stunned that Mohamed Salah's goal did not appear to be checked by the Video Assistant Referee. Salah finished off a sweeping move to put Liverpool two goals up over title rivals Manchester City inside 20 minutes of their 3-1 win at Anfield. An instant replay showed that Salah may well have been offside. It was extremely tight and the kind of decision that has been checked many times by VAR this season.Only on Saturday did Sheffield United have a goal ruled out against Tottenham for a player being offside by no more than the length of a toe. That decision took almost four minutes to reach its conclusion. VAR did check the Salah goal at the Stockley Park HQ, the PGMOL confirmed, but viewers were left shocked that nothing came up on TV. Italy's first-ever black minister was immediately at the centre of a virulent controversy as her appointment was deplored by the rightwing Northern League. Cecile Kyenge, born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, takes on a new portfolio for racial integration. She is one of two naturalised Italians in the government, both elected for the centre-left Democratic party (PD). The other is a former international canoeist, Josefa Idem. The inclusion in the cabinet of blonde, German-born Idem, who won an Olympic gold medal and five world championships for Italy, caused no similar controversy. Matteo Salvini, secretary of the League in Lombardy, called the 48-year-old Kyenge "the symbol of a hypocritical, do-gooding left that would like to abolish the crime of illegal immigration and only thinks about immigrants' rights and not their duties". He said the League was ready to mount "total opposition" to her in parliament. The AC Milan and Italy striker, Mario Balotelli, called her appointment … [Read more...] about Italy’s first black minister attacked by Northern League
