[This story originally aired on February 20.] In July 2020, Daniel Anderl, the son of federal Judge Esther Salas and attorney Mark Anderl, was shot dead by a gunman at the front door of the family's New Jersey home. Daniel Anderl, 20, took a bullet to his chest trying to protect his parents. By the time Judge Salas came to the door, the killer was gone. Her husband, Mark, was wounded. "I have direct evidence that he died heroically, that he had a holy death," says David Oakley, Daniel Anderl's godfather and a family friend. The stranger who came to Judge Salas' door had been holding a package, posing as a deliveryman.  Just eight days earlier, a chillingly similar incident took place in California. At least one student says that she survived Tuesday’s mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, by lying on top of a dying classmate. According to a timeline reconstruction published Wednesday by The Washington Post, Miguel Cerrillo’s 11-year-old daughter Miah was in the classroom when the gunman barricaded himself inside. Cerrillo said that he rushed forward after he saw Miah being carried to a hospital-bound bus with several bullet fragments in her side. An AutoZone worker claimed in a viral video that he was locked inside his place of work with a colleague after the lock was "messed up." TikTok user @duff_matteo_alex gained over 300,000 views on his video showing the aftermath of allegedly being locked inside of an AutoZone store in Dallas. AutoZone is the largest retailer of aftermarket automotive parts in America with over 6,000 stores across the United States. "So apparently we're locked inside of the store. I was trying to leave and the door won't open—the lock is messed up," he explained, showing his failed attempt to open the glass doors. After taking a large sigh and spinning around, the AutoZone worker turned to his colleague and joked: "Looks like me and Tyler are spending the night." Auckland Cavy Care, which opened in Mt Roskill in 2012, takes in, treats and desexes homeless guinea pigs before adopting them out. Run by mother and daughter duo Raylene and Hartley Holder, the not-for-profit shelter has taken in 600 homeless guinea pigs and desexed 500 in the five years it's been running.
