Danniella Westbrook is recovering after being rushed to hospital. The former soap star was found to be suffering with potentially fatal blood- poisoning condition Septicemia after a sudden decline in her health. Without fast treatment, sepsis can lead to multiple organ failure and even death. A rep for the star told The Sun the former EastEnders actress is now back home after her ordeal. "Danniella suffered a sudden health shock," they explained. "Thankfully the issue was caught early and dealt with by medical professionals. Danniella has been released from hospital and is home recovering with the support of close family." This would determine whether, as an autistic person, I would be awarded the disability benefit I had applied for. However, I knew it wouldn’t be straightforward. PIP has been subject to controversy probably since inception and it’s common knowledge that many individuals who apply find themselves fobbed off with spurious excuses, and end up being awarded nothing, despite having sat through the humiliating assessment. This often means that they must go to a tribunal to get the decision overturned. This process can take months – sometimes even more than a year. A mum who quit her job to raise her daughter full time has spoken about her journey from engineer to businesswoman with a million-pound turnover – all thanks to her little girl. Audrey Buck, 55, from Suffolk once worked as a radio engineer for the BBC and later as a director of a training company before giving it all up to start her own family two decades ago.
