Britney Spears to return to music to work with Sir Elton John following end of conservatorship

Britney Spears will make her return to the music scene with a collaboration with Sir Elton John, it has been announced. While details of the project are limited, a spokesperson told the PA news agency the new track will be titled Hold Me Closer. It had been speculated the pair would join forces on a new version of Sir Elton's 1971 hit Tiny Dancer. The Commonwealth Games closing ceremony in Birmingham brought many unexpected delights , one of which was Dexys Midnight Runners opening proceedings with their smash hit Come On Eileen. The night might have belonged to Ozzy Osbourne’s barnstorming surprise performance with Black Sabbath at the night’s close, but plenty were delighted to hear a live rendition of this 1982 classic.
