MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry are “still pushing for royal life” despite not wanting to be "associated" with them, a royal expert has claimed. PR expert Lina Citreon discussed the Sussexes ’ lifestyle choices with Christina Garibaldi on the latest episode of Royally Us. Speaking on Royally Us, host Christina Garibaldi said: “They [ Harry and Meghan] are one of the most recognisable couples in the world but they also wanted to straddle that royal life. “You know, when they were told they couldn’t, they’re still using their HRH titles and things, so it seems like they’re still pushing the royal life but don’t really want to be associated with it either”. PR expert Lida said: “One of the things we’ve learnt is you sometimes don’t get to have it both ways. “When you think about royal life and pageantry of the institution, there’s lots of rules that come with that and there’s protocols and there’s rewards. “But celebrity also has rules and protocols and rewards, it … [Read more...] about Royal Family news- Prince Harry & Meghan ‘still pushing for royal life’ despite not wanting the ‘association’ with them

Dinesh D’Souza bashes “2000 Mules” critic for “third-rate” education
Dinesh D'Souza, a conservative author, political commentator and filmmaker, got personal and slammed the education of a columnist who wrote a negative review of his latest film, 2000 Mules , which was released earlier this month. On Tuesday morning, D'Souza responded to an article from Bulwark writer Amanda Carpenter, who called his film a "hilarious mockumentary." D'Souza posted her article on Twitter , and wrote , "Ball State grad @amandacarpenter offers a good lesson in the limitations of studying film criticism at a third-rate university." The film alleges that widespread voter fraud took place during the 2020 presidential election. Big rise in winter rail disruption blamed on floods and bad weather
Rail passengers faced five times as many severely disrupted days this winter as in the same period last year, figures show, with flooding and adverse weather blamed for the increase in cancellations. There were 21 severely disrupted days – defined as a day on which the cancellations score is five per cent or more – between October and December, compared to four in the same period the previous year. Overall, the number of services running on time rose slightly on the same period last year, reaching 86.9 per cent, but it has fallen over a five-year spell. Grant Shapps, the Transport Secretary, wrote on Twitter that Britain's train companies still had "plenty more to do". "Last year I asked for trains to be regarded as 'on time' only when they arrive to the minute (not five or 10 mins late as per previous measure)," … [Read more...] about Big rise in winter rail disruption blamed on floods and bad weather

Secrets and Lies in the School Cafeteria
Late on a fall afternoon, a skeleton crew staffed the cafeteria at New Canaan High School, in Connecticut. Custodial workers cleaned up the day’s remains while one of the cooks prepped for the evening’s athletic banquet. To hear more feature stories, see our full list or get the Audm iPhone app. A woman entered quietly through the back door, the one designated for deliveries and employees. She wore a jacket over a loose gown. She clutched something to her chest that appeared to be a bag connected to an IV. “What are you doing here?” one of the workers asked. The woman said nothing. She shuffled to her small office. The door clicked shut. The workers exchanged looks. They’d heard that Marie Wilson had been undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She had every right to stay home and rest. Yet here she was, hobbling into the kitchen near sunset, reporting for duty. There would be more days like this one. Days when Wilson endured life’s worst moments—a grandson’s leukemia … [Read more...] about Secrets and Lies in the School Cafeteria
