Meghan Markle ‘faced bullying complaint from one of her closest advisers at Kensington Palace’

· March 3, 2021 ·

MEGHAN Markle is facing allegations of bullying staff made by one of her closest advisors during her time at Kensington Palace. A source told The Times newspaper the Duchess of Sussex drove two personal assistants out of the household and undermined the confidence of the third. The bombshell claims - denied by Meghan’s lawyers - come just days before Meghan, 39, and Harry, 36, give their “shocking” and “tell-all” interview to Oprah Winfrey on US telly. The newspaper reports a source came forward after claiming only a partial version of Meghan’s two years working as a member of the royal family had emerged. The claims were raised to HR in bid to get Buckingham Palace to protect the staff that Knauf alleged were coming under pressure from the duchess. A source told the newspaper that Prince Harry had pleaded with Knauf not to pursue the bullying allegations. Daft Punk faces unmasked – inside the group, their shock split and the funny reason they wore robot helmets

· February 23, 2021 ·

DAFT Punk came to superstardom in mysterious circumstances – now they've left in the same way. The French duo announced they were parting ways after 28 years in a new video released yesterday, but no one knows why they're calling it quits. The break up video titled ' Epilogue ' is a clip from their wordless 2006 film Electroma showing the pair walking through the desert. One of them blows themselves up as the other walks off alone to the sunset before the years 1993 to 2021 appear on the screen. "Hold on, if love is the answer you're home," go the lyrics to their song Touch, which plays over the end of the clip. It's the dramatic end of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter's collaboration which saw them scoop six Grammy Awards, amass a legion of millions of fans, and build a combined fortune of around £50million . But their lasting legacy will be as one of the most influential acts in dance music history whose solo work and tracks with the … [Read more...] about Daft Punk faces unmasked – inside the group, their shock split and the funny reason they wore robot helmets

DW: What do you think are the biggest threats to press freedom in 2021? Teresa Ribeiro: There are so many threats to media freedom in the world at the moment. To name one, I find the growing distrust of the news media very disturbing. A trend sparked by several factors, including by populist politicians and authorities who want to sow doubt in order to cover up their anti-democratic tendencies and deeds.
