“This is not a formality, this is a credible chance for progress. EU and NATO membership are historic opportunities for Macedonia, there will be no second chances to solve open issues that burden Macedonia’s accession process. No one could imagine a better way of successfully completing the Macedonia-Greece talks,” said Vajgl and congratulated the countries’ PMs for the deal. He urged MPs to work together and put the country’s interests before partisan ones. … [Read more...] about MEP Vajgl: No Second Chance for EU Integration

Lee Wallace is likely to find out this week if he has any part to play in Steven Gerrard ’s Rangers revolution. The club captain is in dispute with his employers over the fine handed out to him and Kenny Miller following the Hampden dressing room row after their Scottish Cup semi-final drubbing against Celtic . Miller’s Ibrox contract has expired but Wallace has a year left on his deal and it remains to be seen how he will be affected by the row. Wallace and Miller have lodged appeals with the SPFL but the Hotline kicked off with a caller hoping Rangers give him another chance with Gerrard set to meet club chiefs on Wednesday. Campbell Porter, Glasgow , emailed: “I sincerely hope Lee Wallace gets another chance at Rangers, but I doubt it will happen. “He is one of the best full backs at Rangers and Scottish football and is being cast out of the club because he spoke his mind and stood up for his fellow players. “The problem with the semi final … [Read more...] about Rangers skipper Lee Wallace deserves a second chance at Ibrox
BRITAIN'S Got Talent still have three semi-finals remaining but fans believe they have found their wildcard act. B-Positive Choir crashed out of the competition last night but here's how they can still appear in Sunday's grand final... How do Britain's Got Talent wildcards work? The wildcard element was introduced in series 6, and it gives the judges the power to save one of the eliminated semi-finalists. Last year's spot went to teenage singer Sarah Ikumu, who was Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer act and she ended up placing seventh in the final. Could B-Positive Choir be given a second chance? … [Read more...] about How do Britain’s Got Talent wildcards work and could B-Positive Choir be given a second chance?

There will be no second attempt to lure Quique Sanchez Flores if Stoke fail to appoint Gary Rowett, the Sentinel understands. Sources in Spain strongly suggested on Friday that Stoke and Flores could yet be a deal - despite the Spaniard turning them down at the 11th-hour in January. But Stoke's board was in no mood to give him a second chance to reject them, it seems, and so have paid little heed so far to the former Watford manager. The club's owners met with Flores in January following the sacking of Mark Hughes and a deal seemed likely at one point, but when push came to shove he backed out and remained manager of Espanol. He has since been dismissed by the La Liga outfit following a downturn in results and Flores was apparently all ears should Stoke City have offered him another chance of a return to England. His lack of knowledge of the Championship has also counted against him this time round and so left the likes of Rowett much higher in Stoke's list of managerial possibilities. … [Read more...] about Stoke City in no mood to give Quique Sanchez Flores a second chance
