Teesside boxing fans have the chance to see an all-time boxing great and multiple world champion as he visits the region. The stellar career of Roy Jones Jr finally came to an end earlier this year, after almost three decades as a professional. The highly decorated American is now set to visit Middlesbrough - and tickets are still available. He is heading to the Jury’s Inn Hotel on Fry Street in Middlesbrough town centre, on Saturday May 19, as part of a two week European tour. Jones is considered one of the greatest heavyweights ever after winning six world titles in total at four different weight classes.
