New Zealand is rocked by FOURTH earthquake as tsunami warning is eased after disturbing video shows huge wave surge

NEW Zealand was hit by a fourth earthquake as video showed a tsunami wave surging towards the shore. Terrified residents had fled to high ground ground before another quake struck the Kermadec Islands around noon on Friday. The 6.5 magnitude quake struck at 12.12pm local time and followed one of 8.1 by the islands, off northeastern New Zealand on Friday morning. New Zealand's National Emergency Management Agency issued a tsunami warning after the earlier earthquake struck around 8.29am time at a depth of six miles. People across the country had been woken up by a rumbling sound as their houses shook after the quakes struck. Video showed large surges of water coming ashore at Tokomaru Bay on the East Coast of the country. Hong Kong: New UK visa route opens for up to three million people

Just under three million people in Hong Kong are now able to apply to live, study and work in the UK after a new visa route opened. The government offered a pathway to British citizenship for those holding British National (Overseas) status and their eligible family members last summer. It followed the imposition of a controversial new security law in Hong Kong by China, which has since been described by the UK as means to "crush dissent" against Beijing. Britney Spears has shared a playful tribute to her boyfriend Sam Asghari on his 27th birthday. Taking to her Instagram account on Thursday, the pop songstress, 39, posted two video clips set to her classic 2003 single Toxic. The first video shows Britney dancing in the shower while wearing a white bathrobe. As the iconic strings of the track come in, Britney wipes her face on the shower's glass door. The second clip shows fitness model Sam repeat the same routine whilst also dressed in a white bathrobe. Britney's account captioned the post: "Happy birthday to the man that always makes me laugh [laughing emoji, confetti emoji, balloon emoji] !!!!! Who did it better ???? @samasghar" ." James Bulger’s brothers reveal they keep spare chair around table for murdered toddler

The brothers of murdered toddler James Bulger have spoken for the first time about growing up without their sibling - and how the family has made sure he is never forgotten. James’ brother Michael, 27, and half-brothers Thomas, 22 and Leon, 21, revealed how their mother Denise always leaves an empty chair for James at the Christmas table, and still talks about him “as if he is there”. Jimmy Lai: Hong Kong media tycoon and democracy advocate denied bail

Another court has denied bail to Hong Kong media tycoon and democracy campaigner Jimmy Lai ahead of his April trial. He is accused of colluding with foreign elements to endanger national security, apparently for tweets he made and interviews or commentaries he gave to international media. Hong Kong's High Court said it would publish its reasons for rejecting Thursday's application at a later date. Hong Kong schools to teach children as young as six about colluding with foreign forces Last week the Court of Final Appeal ruled a lower court's decision last year to grant Mr Lai bail applied "an erroneous line of reasoning", but allowed his team to go to the High Court.
