Less than one percent of people at a New York City school who were fully immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine tested positive for coronavirus , a new study finds. These so-called 'breakthrough cases' occur when people test positive for the virus at least 14 days after receiving their final dose of the vaccine, and which officials say is not surprising. Researchers found that just two people - or 0.5 percent - out of 417 employees at Rockefeller University who received both doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines later contracted the virus. Both patients had mild infections and easily recovered. The data show how well the vaccines work in real life and suggest that falling ill with COVID-19 after being fully vaccinated is very rare. Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul are set to clash on June 5 in their rearranged exhibition bout. The fight was due to be held in February but was delayed due to what Paul complained of as "complications" dealing with Mayweather. The former pound-for-pound No.1 confirmed the fight would still take place over the weekend when he named five potential host cities - Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas and Atlanta. And a report from The Athletic claims the bout has now been pencilled in for June, on the same night as Teofimo Lopez defends his lightweight world titles against George Kambosas. The undercard of that world title fight will also feature the return of Evander Holyfield in an exhibition against Kevin McBride. The report also claims that Mayweather will give up 30lb to Paul with limits of 160lb and 190lb in place respectively. Paul said earlier this year that the fight will take place over six three-minute rounds. The social media star has fought once as a … [Read more...] about Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul fight rules as new summer date set

FROM Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali to Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, a host of big-name boxers have fought an opponent as amateurs only to take them on in the ring as a pro years later. Check out the long list of epic rematches, below... DILLIAN WHYTE vs ANTHONY JOSHUA In 2009 ex-kickboxer Whyte was struggling to get his first amateur boxing opponent until he was offered a 4-0 prospect from Watford, called Anthony Joshua. Brixton’s Whyte grabbed the fight with both hands and the two Londoner’s slugged it out upstairs at the Boston Dome pub in Tufnell Park. One knockdown was scored against AJ, Whyte still insists there should have been two and the decision went to the Body Snatcher. Six years later and Joshua was the Olympic golden boy while Whyte had served a doping ban and was billed as Dillian The Villain. A brilliant British title battle ensued, with the 2012 icon getting wobbled by his left-hook kryptonite in round two.
