A WOMAN has been left with horrific facial burns and oozing pus after a botched wrinkle treatment in a Turkish clinic. "They are butchers," said Filiz Demet, 40, after a wrinkle removal treatment in the city of Kahramanmaras, southeastern Turkey, left her with pus pouring out of her skin and even bleeding from her eyes. According to national newspaper Bursada, Ms Demet visited the clinic to get rid of the wrinkles in her forehead. The 40-year-old was told by the beautician it was best she did not know what it was so she would not send out bad energy. She said: "The specialist there told me that filling is not a permanent solution, and the wrinkles on my forehead would reappear after six months. "She wanted to apply another method. Coronavirus vaccines meant for Palestinian medical workers have been administered to VIPs including ministers and the national football team, the country's health ministry has admitted. The Palestinian Authority (PA), which runs parts of Gaza and the West Bank, confirmed details of the jab rollout after criticism from human rights and civil society groups, who urged an investigation. Patients with cancer, inflammatory arthritis, kidney or liver diseases or those having a stem cell transplant may have a higher chance of having the more severe complications of coronavirus. Such underlying medical conditions and the treatment some patients receive as part of their care may weaken the immune system - which is why they have been prioritised to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. However, researchers claim current evidence suggests that people with these medical conditions may not obtain optimal protection from established vaccines.
