A SUPERSONIC jet which could fly from London to New York in just 90 minutes has revealed what passengers could expect from the flight. Inside the Spike S-512 Supersonic Jet cabin would be a large seating area, which can be converted to beds or a dining area and flat-screen TVs. The flights, which would have a maximum 18 seats, will have no windows, due to window sections being the weakest part of a plane. They also bring in a lot of noise, making the plane not just stronger and more fuel-efficient but quieter as well. Spike Aerospace founder and CEO Vik Kachoria told the Telegraph : "“The Concorde was ridiculously noisy. "Most conversations between two people are between 65 and 75 decibels and the noise level found within most plane cabins is around 85 decibels. Malawi's opposition leader Lazarus Chakwera has won Malawi's rerun elections held on Tuesday to become the country's new president. The Malawi Election Commission declared him the victor on Saturday with a dominant 58.57% of the vote ahead of incumbent President Peter Mutharika. Mutharika, who has been in power since 2014, won 38% of the vote in last year's discredited elections in which Chakwera garnered 35%. Mutharika was even sworn into power, but evidence of electoral irregularities later led to the courts annulling the results . The scrapping of Mutharika's 2019 victory by the courts was historic as it made Malawi just the second sub-Saharan African country to have presidential poll results set aside, after Kenya in 2017 . ALTON Towers have released a new video showing inside the soon-to-open Gangsta Granny ride. The new attraction, which was meant to open last year but was delayed due to the pandemic, is based on the popular David Walliams novels. It will be part of a new land called the World of David Walliams , where many of the characters featured in his books will be brought to life. The book Gangsta Granny, which was published in 2013 by Harper Collins, is about a boy call Ben who discovered that his Granny is actually an international jewel thief. The story will be brought to life as a new 4D experience where guests will join the main characters in the book as they attempt to steal the crown jewels in what's supposed to be the greatest heist in the history of the world.
