David Jason is happy to hand the mantle of the public’s favourite comedy to Mrs Brown’s Boys - but he wishes they would ditch the swearing. The Only Fools and Horses star said: “I think Mrs Brown’s Boys in particular is very good, though I do find that perhaps the language is a bit strong for a family but it is very popular and I think it’s very funny. “I just find that the language is a bit strong if you want to watch it with your little ones.” The BBC1 comedy starring market trader Del Boy Trotter often drew huge audiences with over 21 million watching their Christmas specials. While Mrs Brown’s Boys, which was created by and stars Brendan O’Carroll , has topped the most watched comedy on Christmas Day in 2017 with nine million. A Bury St Edmunds slimmer is half the man he was and a whole lot healthier after losing 15 stone in weight. Tony Howland, 43, was named Westbury Slimming World’s Mr Sleek 2017 after losing half his body weight and dropping from a 58in to 34in waist. Alex Ridsdale, who runs Slimming World groups at Westbury Community Centre, said: “Tony is so much fitter as at 30 stone he would struggle to walk 500 yards.
