Netflix fans have lots to look forward to in July and the streaming giant has tons of new releases coming out, including lots of brand new original series and films. Kicking the month off is one of the most highly anticipated Netflix releases of the year - Stranger Things Season 4 volume 2. The second part of Netflix's hit supernatural drama will drop on July 1. This season will be the show's second to last, as it's set to return for just one more run for series five. Other Netflix highlights for July include a brand new adaption of Jane Austen's Persuasion, starring Dakota Johnson , and the new Italian romance Under The Amalfi Sun sounds like a perfect summer watch. Despite being named after the King, this nearly three-hour musical is primarily told not from the perspective of the titular character (played by Austin Butler) but that of his manager: the oddly accented, smugly delusional Colonel Tom Parker (a very prosthetics-adorned Tom Hanks). It is through Parker’s self-serving narration that we see Elvis Presley’s celebrity explode and then eventually dim as Parker manipulates him into a long-term Las Vegas contract and surrounds him with doctors who keep him medicated and addicted. BBC staff are reportedly feeling uneasy and awkward after Dan Walker's replacement were named. It has been claimed the BBC Breakfast presenter's replacement has already been chosen, despite applications allegedly continuing. Dan, 45, had recently left the morning show to become part of the Channel 5 News team. Applications for the presenting role were shown on the BBC website and closed on May 24. Interviews for the role are apparently still ongoing and no official announcement has been made as of yet.
