Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is among Europe’s 100 most valuable players, according to latest figures. The Nigerian is calculated to be worth €62.7m (£55m), making him the 79th most expensive footballer playing in the continent’s top five divisions: the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1. However, Ndidi’s price tag has dropped nearly €15m since January, when he was valued at €77.4m (£68m) and ranked 51st. The 21-year-old’s worth has been worked out by Swiss analytics company CIES Football Observatory , whose algorithm factors in position, age, nationality, club, contract length and, of course, ability. Ndidi’s depreciation could be due to a number of reasons. Kane has had a €201.2m (£176.25m) price tag put on his head, in a study of the top 100 players from Europe's five biggest leagues. And that has put the England captain and Tottenham talisman, 24, ahead of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, the Paris Saint-Germain duo who are currently the two most expensive players in the world. Brazilian superstar Neymar has been valued at €195.7m (£171.74m) in the latest CIES Football Observatory study and French forward Mbappe €186.5m (£163.41m). Neymar joined PSG for £198m last summer from Barcelona while Mbappe's move from Monaco to PSG is set to be made permanent this summer for around £166m.
