Earlier this month, Walt Disney World began reopening, following almost four months of closure due to the pandemic. I flew to Orlando to experience the magic. The week I arrived, Florida had registered the highest single-day case count of any state thus far. In Orlando’s airport, I felt a vague sense that Floridians considered such statistics a source of secret pride, as if they had set a record for fattest alligator or ugliest serial killer or most senior citizens in a golf cart. The airport where I had started my day, in Connecticut, had required masks, and everyone wore them. Here in Florida, some passengers went totally unmasked, but most wore masks in a defiant fashion, either slung under their chin or with their nostrils gaping out over the top, sucking and spewing potentially viral particles with every breath. Jodie Fa’avae vividly remembers the moment when she first saw a bike "that could go off-track." As a student at Nelson’s Nayland College, Fa'avae biked from Nelson to Kaiteriteri with a group of friends on some of New Zealand’s first basic model mountain bikes to celebrate school finishing – an adventure in itself. Soon after, Fa'avae had entered – and won – her first mountain bike race in 1992. “I crashed once [in that first race] but carried on – to be national champion for seven years. Mountain biking was a big part of my life,” Fa’avae says. But the victories weren't enough. JOSH Duggar has been “threatened” and “verbally abused” by fellow inmates while he awaits his child pornography sentencing. Josh , 34, has been in Washington County Jail in Arkansas since he was found guilty of possessing and receiving child pornography on December 9. He will remain there until his sentencing for the crimes on May 25, as he will then be transferred to federal prison. The Sun can exclusively reveal Josh has been “threatened” and “verbally abused” in jail, as loved ones have sent letters to the judge begging for a lenient sentence. THIS is the dramatic moment Russian tanks are obliterated after they were spotted hiding in back gardens. The attack took place in the village of Zirkuni in the northeastern Ukrainian region of Kharkiv Oblast after the tanks were seen by Ukrainian drones. Footage shows the tanks driving around, frantically looking for somewhere to hide as Russian forces attempt to retake lost positions in the area. One of the tanks can be seen reversing into a residential yard, hoping the trees would conceal their position. However, the garden failed to provide coverage, with the tanks soon going up in flames after a strike by Ukrainian fighters.
