Paul Quinn has urged Dundee United to stop beating their players up with memories of past glories – starting by ripping down photos of the golden era in the 1980s. The former Tannadice defender insists the club must now embrace the modern-day era no matter who they appoint to replace Csaba Laszlo. He was sacked as manager on Sunday, 24 hours after United’s humiliating 5-1 defeat at home to Ross County. Quinn said: “There are bigger problems there than just replacing the manager.
