Original EastEnders star Alexandra 'Sandy' Ratcliff died aged 70 after overdosing on morphine while suffering from two terminal lung conditions, an inquest heard today. Ratcliff, who played the much-loved character Sue Osman in the soap before falling from the public eye, died at a care home in Stoke Newington, North London. Appearing as Osman from the first episode of the BBC soap in 1985 until 1989, she took on a number of tough storylines including when she lost her baby to cot death syndrome before divorcing her husband, Ali, soon after. Pregnant Elin Nordegren was seen with her baby daddy Jordan Cameron for the first time as they played a round of her ex-husband Tiger Woods' favorite sport, DailyMail.com can reveal. The expecting couple were spotted giving each other high-fives as they hit the links for a round of golf at a public course in Los Angeles on Friday. Nordegren wore a fitted black top and leggings which showcased her baby bump while the former Miami Dolphins football player relaxed in a white top and light colored shorts with a black cap. She is due to deliver her third child in mid-October - her first with long term boyfriend. The Northern Isles of Scotland were in danger of becoming thoroughly depopulated in the 1960s and 70s. When I was a child sitting in Sunday school in west Texas, I often wondered why God would engineer these temptations into our environment in the first place – much less lead us into them – if he was only going to enjoin us to avoid them later. Today I feel the same way about the creators of our technological environments. We are bombarded at every turn with persuasive design that exploits our psychological weaknesses and often leads us into temptation, habituation and distraction. At the same time, we are expected to take up arms against these distractions, to muster superhuman levels of self-regulation, just to adapt to this all-out war others are waging for our attention.
