PRINCE Charles had a "very emotional" meeting with grandchildren Lilibet and Archie when the Sussexes returned to the UK, a royal source says. The heir and wife Camilla are said to have been "absolutely thrilled" to spend time with Harry, Meghan and their children during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The family kept a low profile during their return and enjoyed a private party at Frogmore Cottage for Lilibet's first birthday. Harry, who quit as a senior working royal in 2020, has previously had a troubled relationship with Charles. In his Oprah interview last year, he said his father had stopped taking his calls at one stage and even cut him off financially. But a senior royal source, speaking at the briefing of Clarence House's annual review, said it had been "wonderful" to have the Sussexes back in the country. Prince Harry won’t ruin his relationship with royal relatives
Queen Elizabeth's grandson Prince Harry seemingly wants to make amends with his royal relatives as he has reportedly insisted to not be featured on the Netflix hit show, The Crown. The Duke of Sussex's this move suggests that he's not in mood to ruin his relationship with the royal family. Royal fans and commentators have voiced their concerns about the scripted drama loosely based on royals over the years. Season 1 of The Crown started streaming on Netflix in 2016 and starred Claire Foy as the queen and Matt Smith as Prince Philip. The streaming platform released the controversial fourth season of the show which portrays the relationship between the Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince Charles and Diana. Concern grew when royal commentators claimed the show will cause lasting damage to the Royal Family.
