The British actor James Norton has said he is not afraid about the response to his upcoming Russian mafia show as he has already received death threats of his role in Happy Valley. Norton, who is tipped as the next James Bond, starred in the Bafta-winning crime drama as Tommy Lee Royce, a psychopath and violent ex-convict who abducts and ties up a young woman. He revealed that his portrayal of the character led to death threats from members of the public, meaning he has no concerns about his safety when the BBC’s new big budget drama McMafia airs in January. “Some people have asked me if I’m worried about getting death threats for exposing how the Russian mafia works,” Norton told Radio Times magazine. “That would be nothing new. The popular meal mixes chips with grated Manx Cheddar and beef gravy. An online magazine has declared the last Monday in January National Chips, Cheese & Gravy Day because the "beloved dish" had previously been "overlooked". Culture Vannin said it was good to give "a shout out" to what has "arguably become the ultimate comfort food". In an interview with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci said he was "cautiously optimistic" that a vaccine for COVID-19 could be available by the end of the year. Fauci said multiple candidates for a viable vaccine were ready to move into clinical trials, beginning in July. One vaccine, manufactured by the biotech firm Moderna, was shown to have had a positive effect against the virus , producing neutralizing antibodies. Moderna's vaccine is set to enter the third stage of clinical trials in July with testing involving 30,000 individuals.
