CAPTAIN Sir Tom Moore’s funeral procession has travelled through the NHS fundraising hero's hometown for his final journey . The veteran has been given a guard of honour at the "spectacular" send-off, while soldiers from the Yorkshire Regiment have taken his coffin into Bedfordshire Crematorium. DOWNING Street have ruled out abolishing the triple lock on pensions- but could suspend it to pay for the coronavirus. The Chancellor is said to be looking at scrapping the promised increases amid fears over the growing cost of the pandemic. According to The Financial Time s, Mr Sunak is worried the triple lock bill could soar due to a dip in wages caused by the government’s furlough scheme. Now No10 have suggested they could suspend it. A No10 source said: "These are unique and challenging economic circumstances and we cannot hide from that. "Decisions on tax and pension policy are announced at the budget. "There are no plans to abolish the triple lock and we will always stand by pensioners." A mind-boggling photo of a hidden snake has left baffled viewers wondering if they need a trip to the opticians. In a weekly game of 'Spot the Snake Sunday', Facebook users were asked to inspect a suspicious, seemingly empty patch of grass and find a reptile hidden within. The usually do-able game proved near impossible for those who've tried their eye at spotting the serpent. Those who believed they had spied it took their best guess at what type of snake it was. One person mis-identified the creature as an eastern green in the centre of the image - which was not only incorrect, but not where the snake is located in the image.
