Dramatic moment pilot aborts landing at Manchester Airport during Storm Deirdre winds
Dramatic video footage captured the moment planes arriving at Manchester Airport were forced to abort landing amid Storm Deirdre's fierce winds. The blustery weather presented challenging conditions for pilots throughout Saturday. Footage showed planes looking set for a rocky landing on the runway, wobbling from side to side. Although some pilots landed their first attempt, other planes were caught on camera touching down for just a split second before being forced to take off again. Manchester United told by Tottenham to forget about Harry Kane
Tottenham Hotspur remain adamant that they will not sell Harry Kane to Manchester United or any other club this summer. Daniel Levy, the Spurs chairman, met Ed Woodward, the Old Trafford executive vice-chairman, in May as stories first emerged of United’s interest in Kane and he made it plain that he would not entertain any bids for his club’s prized asset. He is also on record as stating his admiration for Kane. United have not made an official bid for Kane but they are considering whether to do so. Behind Rooney, Van Gaal has Javier Hernández and James Wilson while he also name-checked Adnan Januzaj as a … [Read more...] about Manchester United told by Tottenham to forget about Harry Kane

The striker’s hat-trick in the 4-1 win at Dinamo Zagreb took him to 10 goals in 21 appearances this season. Yet five were scored in his past three games and Jesus was candid about the weight of expectation he feels. “I take it personally,” he said. “I think: ‘Oh, my God, I have to score, I have to score, I have to score.’ When I have the chance sometimes I miss because I think too much and put too much pressure on myself. “I try – I’m getting better. I’m working on scoring more and to not think about the pressure. My family help me, so I think that’s the way I try to handle the pressure.” Jesus is enjoying an extended run because of Sergio Agüero’s absence because of a thigh injury. The Brazilian started three games last month and came on in another three but failed to score. “Last month I was … [Read more...] about Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus ‘takes it personally’ when he fails in front of goal
